‘RHOC’ star Heather Dubrow shares her fashion and beauty favorites
When it comes to fashion and beauty, Heather Dubrow is hardly flying by the seat of her (fancy) pants.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star’s not only honed her own distinctive style sense over the years, she’s also tried her hand at design — most recently collaborating on a just-dropped capsule collection with NY-based designer Susan Bender.
“It’s really hard to find the basics anywhere … even in couture,” the star tells Page Six Style, citing the “off the hook” White Stretch Cotton Blouse ($98) as one of her favorites from the eight-piece line.
She brings a similar philosophy to her beauty routine, investing in basics that are anything but basic — including surprisingly affordable staples like Wet n Wild’s Color Icon Lip Liner in Brandy Wine ($1).
“My favorite product of all time is my lip liner,” she raved. “It’s literally the best lip liner on the planet.”
Also in her arsenal? Everything from classic Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($13 $10) to a “really beautiful” Dior Diorshow Eyeshadow Palette ($68) and portable Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick ($10).
“I saw this on TikTok,” she says of the latter product, made viral in part by Jennifer Lopez’s makeup artist, Scott Barnes.
“I put [Aquaphor] under the concealer but also on my top lip … it kind of fills in the lines a little so the makeup smooths over.”
You won’t see her consulting TikTok trends when it comes to her closet, though; Dubrow prefers to invest in timeless staples — including Bender’s “quality” creations, which she and co-star Gina Kirschenheiter both wore on-screen long before Dubrow’s collaboration.
“I like simple, clean, easy style,” says the star, adding, “I feel like one of the mistakes that many women make is by wearing clothes that are too big. I think that we all look better when [we] wear things that fit.”
And when asked which Bravolebs she thinks delivers the best style moments, the star’s comparing apples to oranges (er, the Big Apple to Orange County).
“I think there’s so many gals that really just show up so beautifully,” she says, shouting out Jenna Lyons and Sai De Silva — the latter of whom she’s followed for years and even DM’ed after her casting was announced.
With fresh episodes of both shows now on the way, it’s safe to say Dubrow’s designs will be back on screen soon.
