‘The Bachelorette’ Star Charity Lawson Spills Wedding Dress Details (Exclusive)

Charity Lawson is ready to turn the aisle into her runway.

It’s been two years since the Bachelorette alum got engaged to contestant Dotun Olubeko on her season of the reality dating show, and now, she’s ready to make her dream bridal wardrobe come to life.

“I’m having at least three outfit changes,” Lawson, 30, tells PEOPLE at an event celebrating e.l.f. Cosmetics’ new fragrances with H&M. So far, she’s envisioning a “timeless and traditional” look for the ceremony and then going “completely opposite” with a “very romantic, flirty, festive and high-glam” fashion moment for the reception.

She also has plans to coordinate with Olubeko for the cultural homage to his heritage. “Me and Dotun are going to do be doing a traditional look when we’re announced as a couple,” she teases of their outfits, which are “coming straight from Nigeria.”

Back in 2025, Lawson opened up about her and Olubeko’s easy-going approach to wedding planning.

“We’re just not in a significant rush because … the last few months have been just a lot in terms of figuring out logistics for us,” she told PEOPLE. “So we’re just taking it day by day. We want it to be super meaningful, and I think that’s really important, especially with how we met.”

At the time, the bride-to-be also revealed that the pair are setting up two weddings. “…It takes a lot of time and effort and, yeah, we want to do it right.”

More recently, Lawson revealed that her special moment will be celebrated with a few familiar faces from Bachelor Nation. But the important details are being kept under wraps.

“We do [have a wedding date], but I have made it my most thing I’m never sharing to the public, so you guys will know once wedding content starts coming out,” she said in a January interview with It Girl. “But I was like, ‘I don’t think I want to share with the public the date.’ Just, you know, people are crazy. Crazy, not in a good way.”

Lawson attended an event in New York City celebrating e.l.f. Cosmetics and H&M’s limited-edition line of fragrance, which marks a first for both companies. Available now, the collection features three fragrances: Power Grip Salty Drip EdP, Camo Blend Nude Canvas EdP and Halo Glow Luminous Cloud EdP, all for $30 each.

The launch also includes companion products for each scent, including a handbag, bag charm and non-slip socks.

Lawson was not shy about sharing her scent profile, revealing that she goes for something “romantic and flirty, sweet with a hint of sexiness.” And like her bridal outfits, her scents are on rotation. “I never wear the same thing. I layer at least three different fragrances before I go out.”
