Since becoming a viral sensation, Labubus have been popping up seemingly everywhere. Now, they’re headed down the aisle!
David’s Bridal is getting in on the Labubu craze by offering couture wedding ensembles for the Pop Mart plush monster toys. Fans can order custom looks — and tiny accessories to match — at their local David’s Bridal store by making an appointment with the alterations team, according to a press release.
The retailer will even create designs to match a bride’s own wedding gown, “capturing every intricate detail, from fabric to embellishments and finishing touches, all perfectly scaled to fit the 10-inch icon.”

And customers are encouraged to dream big.
“No idea is too bold, and no request too small, when it comes to bringing customers’ dreams to life,” David’s Bridal said.
In addition to custom commissions, the brand tapped Viola Chan, head of couture and design, to recreate two of her most iconic couture bridal designs, “meticulously tailored to Labubu’s petite proportions, bringing elevated elegance to the whimsical world of Labubu,” per the release.

“The custom couture designs created for Labubu are a playful celebration of limitless style and a reminder that magic often lives in the unexpected details,” the company noted.

Labubu lovers can also order bespoke looks to match their entire wedding party, or any other unique design of their choice.
The custom wedding dresses start at $50, while bridesmaid dresses and other ensembles start at $35. Final pricing depends on the complexity of the design, fabric choice and embellishments.
According to David’s Bridal, brides are seeking Labubu looks to match their wedding gowns as a unique keepsake. Couples are also using the little creatures as props for photos and as gifts for their wedding party members.
The Pop Mart website describes Labubus as being “a devilish but cute monster with pointed ears, a charmingly mischievous smile, and very sharp teeth.” The collectible toys, which are often sold in blind bags, can be hooked to purses and bags as accessories and charms.
Labubus were immediately popular when launched in 2019, but they became an even bigger sensation after pop star Lisa of BLACKPINK was photographed accessorizing with one in 2024. Other celebrity fans include Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Dua Lipa and David Beckham.
