For more than five decades, the Micari family has helped New York City brides find one-of-a-kind wedding gowns. Tony and Maria Micari opened the first Bridal Reflections salon in Massapequa in 1973, and added a boutique in Carle Place in the early 1980s. In 2006, the company expanded into an opulent, marble-floored showroom on Fifth Avenue in New York City, where brides reveal each potential gown to their family members by walking a red carpet—literally.
Bridal Reflections curates gowns from more than two dozen designers, organizing their stock by price point: At the New York City location, specifically, gowns range from $4,000 to $20,000 (and upward). The company carries bridalwear from Milla Nova, Galia Lahav, Pronovias, Paloma Blanca, and The Atelier Couture by Professor Jimmy Choo—a collection brimming with luxury, high-end craftsmanship, and stunning detailing. The salon also offers a dedicated eveningwear collection—it’s ideal for nontraditional brides, bridesmaids’ gowns, and looks for the mothers of the bride and groom.
Our favorite moment is when we get to truly style a bride—when we help her discover a look that feels uniquely her.
The shop’s current leadership includes Tony and Maria’s children, Anthony Micari and Roselynn Fiumara, alongside longtime Bridal Reflections employee Cristina DeMarco. “Our favorite moment is when we get to truly style a bride—when we help her discover a look that feels uniquely her,” says DeMarco. With that in mind, the boutique also offers in-house tailoring, assigning a dedicated seamstress to every bride and offering opportunities to customize the gowns for an entirely one-of-a-kind final look. “Sometimes that means adding sleeves, more lace, or removing a sparkle tulle layer—whatever it takes to ensure she feels beautiful in every inch of her gown,” says DeMarco. “We’re always happy to go the extra mile to make that magic happen.”
Micari and Fiumara are proud to continue the legacy of personalized service their parents began more than 50 years ago. “From timeless classics to modern couture, we’re here to help every bride say yes to the dress of her dreams—with the fit, feel, and finish she deserves,” says Micari.
