7 Must-Have Wedding Fashion Essentials to Shop Now

I’ve been struggling with the concept of time lately. Not that I’ve ever had a firm grasp on it (time is relative, of course), but because every time I blink, it feels like we’re in a new month. I also know I previously said that January was long (and it was, for many reasons), but that doesn’t change the fact that 2025 started yesterday and March is only a few days away.
Before I get too deep, though, what I’m trying to say is that my current perception of time has led me to reflect on many things—mainly how much I enjoy writing this newsletter. I hope it’s been a fun escape for you, too, amidst these wild, wild times we’re living in.
Okay, now let’s get into today’s topic: essential wedding fashion finds. Here are several items I came across in February that I strongly believe you should know about.
Happy shopping!
Ronny Kobo Wyeth Dress
I’m not sure if everyone is like this, but I go through random periods when I obsess over one designer and want to buy everything from their collections. Is it just me? Anyway, my current designer du jour is Ronny Kobo. And on my quest to find several everyday pieces to add to my closet, I came across this gorgeous black mermaid gown, which is perfect for both wedding guests and bridesmaids.
Self-Portrait Cream Satin Top Handle Heart Clutch
Self-Portrait launched its newest bridal collection in January, but a lot was happening that month, so I didn’t find out about it until early Feb. I was actually sorting through my emails when I came across this adorable heart-shaped clutch for brides.
Self-Portrait Crystal Bows Necklace
…and another Self-Portrait pick (I guess Ronny Kobo isn’t the only brand I latched onto recently). This one’s for all the brides-to-be who want to embrace a modern coquette aesthetic for their wedding events. I would personally style this for an engagement party, reception, or after-party.
Melissa x Telfar Jelly Slide & Small Jelly Shopper
Raise your hand if you had a pair of jelly sandals when you were a kid. *raises hand* I absolutely loved Melissa shoes growing up—so much so that I bought a pair a few years ago and will continue to buy jelly shoes for the foreseeable future. When I discovered that Melissa collaborated with Telfar, I literally gasped from excitement. Final verdict: I give these sandals and mini purse a 10 out of 10.
Hanifa Solana Mule Sandals
Since we’re on the topic of shoes, I’ll use this time to show off my more “sophisticated” side. I know jelly sandals aren’t for everything, so check out these Hanifa mules for a chic footwear option.

Paris Couture Wedding Dresses for Less
Pottery Barn Waffle Weave Resort Robe
I recently saw a photo of a real bride wearing a custom embroidered waffle robe while getting ready…and I absolutely loved it! But then I got to thinking: Why have I never recommended a bridal waffle robe to any of my friends, family, or clients before? To make up for my momentary lapse in judgment, here’s an option I found on Pottery Barn if you’re looking to ditch the traditional silk and lace robe pieces most brides wear the morning of their weddings.
