Start Here: Top 10 Black Friday Deals
Hey Gang – S here. If you’re short on time, here’s a quick punch list of my top 10 holiday sales right now. Let’s go.
- The best cashmere on sale right now? This La Ligne sweater – it’s the coolest thing I’ve put on in a while, with a subtle sexiness I can’t get enough of. I have the size small (runs a little slouchy – it’s great).
- Also, Banana Republic’s 100% cashmere striped polo is on sale! So outfit-making and SO GOOD. Will sell out, do not wait. 🙂
- Need boots to wear with jeans? J.Crew’s Stevie Boots (use code SHOPFALL), or these Nine West booties on sale at DSW. For an under $100 pair, these Steve Madden boots are also on sale. I highly recommend the chocolate brown (for all of them!).
- Winter jacket on sale? Athleta’s flannel puffer is my top pick – I actually brought it home in both gray and ivory and am trying to decide which to keep. Fits TTS.
- Adidas is having an early Black Friday Sale (only until 11/5), and it’s basically a list of our favs: classic track pants (and here’s some with petite sizes left), chic satin track pants, and even those fun cow print track pants (70% off!!). For sneakers they have my personal favs, SL 72’s (I like the emerald green snake) as well as some Gazelles (I like the ‘red/better scarlet’).
- J.Crew’s early Black Friday sale is freaking amazing. I have (and love) these cords in chocolate brown, and this lace-trimmed slip skirt is high on my holiday outfit wish list.
- Our Place just started their Black Friday sale, and their Titanium Always Pan Pro is the most-used pan in my kitchen right now. It’s a nonstick pan, but achieves the nonstick effect via a physical design (a titanium honeycomb pattern) rather than using chemicals which can peel and flake off with age. It’s not 100% nonstick (you do have to use a tiiiny bit of oil), but if you are trying to avoid chemical coatings yet don’t have the patience for cast iron…this pan is amazing. Highly recommend.
- Ogee – I adore this clean-beauty brand (based in Vermont!!) and my contouring set is on sale!! There’s nothing that gives a more natural glow – I’ve used it on all of my friends, it’s one of my favorite things to gift (also, I use the ‘radiant’ because the pinks & browns are a little cooler-toned). There’s also some fun bundles with clean lip glosses + a face stick.
- Evereve – One heck of a fun holiday kick-off sale is happening. Fancy sweatshirt? Yes, please. I also love this over-the-top organza top and these bejeweled little flats. I’d 110% wear them together.
- Bookshop.org is having an early BF sale, take 15% off select books with code SBHOLIDAY15. In our house, Santa brings books every year (not Kindle versions) and I’m getting a headstart. Purchasing from bookshop.org supports small, independent bookstores, too.

Fashion: The Best Black Friday Sales, 2025 (Clothing, Shoes & Accessories)
This is usually the time that we like to pick up holiday pieces on sale. As for this year, I have a few ideas roaming around, but I’ve got chocolate brown on the mind a lot. So, festive chocolate brown — on a silky skirt (barely-there floral or a lace trim), corduroy pants (Shana’s pair or this pair in technically ‘Deep Aubergine’ but close enough), some sparkle (something fun or something more subtle), and if I just wanna be casual and cozy…sweater pants.
But we can’t deny our love for those wardrobe workhorses, either like Athleta’s suuuper chic puffer, the infamous featherweight jeans, and cozy sweaters…Gap’s CashSoft, this striped borrowed-from-the-guys J.Crew one, and the best color options from Nordstrom’s cashmere (but size up!).

The home sale section is always such a treat to scroll through. Shana usually gets lost scrolling there late at night (more specifically, Food52’s section is wildly tempting), and I’m right there with her. Of course, there’s the kitchen appliances and cookware we swear by (hello, Our Place), but the home decor is a joy to comb through, too.
